Superb welcome from the staff who went out of our way to make this a pleasant stay. Fabulous location with views over Lake Elementaita and immaculate gardens full of birds. Loved the pool - clean, turquoise and a proper size for actual swimming in. Zachary took us on 2 brilliant walks down through the grounds to the lakeshore to see flamingoes and pelicans and other birds. Rooms clean. We had delicious meals on the verandah. It is also a fascinating historic building. We hope to return.

Everything! The location is stunning and peaceful, but only 2 hours drive from Nairobi. The tent is airy and beautifully furnished, with super comfortable bed, great hot shower, a small kitchen with fridge and microwave and there is WiFi (but you might want to switch all your devices off and just immerse yourself in the place!). We just lounged on the gorgeous veranda, watching birds and monkeys. The outdoor bath is spectacular, you can sit in hot water on the cool nights and watch the stars. And as a huge bonus, you can swim in the river which is 5min walk down the hill! The stuff and hosts are so welcoming. One of the best places we've ever stayed, highly recommended!

If you're looking for a serene and relaxing space around nature, you can't go wrong with Ol-Muteita lodge. We felt at home right from the start! The food was delicious and fresh. Hats off to the chef, he really knows his flavors! The lodge was always clean topped with a great team of warm staff who were available to help at all times. The location was breathtaking. It was the perfect getaway from the city yet so convenient to stay at for day trips to the parks around. The views throughout the day were beautiful and we had a lovely time hiking around the farmhouse. Mabel was always kind enough to show us around and took us to the perfect secret location where we just sat and enjoyed the views for hours.

The place is quite and remote and has the best safari view! We saw many animals from up close. The team was very welcoming and made sure we were good with everything:) The facilities were all working and the food took a lot of time to arrive but it was very good and cheap. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed very much!
