A special thank you to Danushka for giving us the best start to our Sri Lanka trip. Everything is possible and doable here, and you are truly well taken care of! The air conditioning worked perfectly, we slept wonderfully (loved that we had a duner), and the bathroom had hot water. The owner and his family are very friendly. He organized the storage and transport of our surfboards for us, so that we could only travel with light luggage and our surfboards were waiting for us in the south. The breakfast completely exceeded our expectations. The owner's wife prepared many small Sri Lankan breakfast dishes with a lot of love - you definitely have to try them. You just have to give 40 minutes' notice in advance, as she prepares everything fresh. The hotel's location is ideal for the first or last day of your trip.

Staying at this hotel was truly a beautiful experience. I originally booked for one night as a transit stay after arriving at the airport, just before continuing my trip — but I ended up extending my stay — that’s how lovely it was. The room was spacious, spotless, and exactly as pictured—calm, comfortable, and full of good energy! The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were delicious. But what made this stay unforgettable was the incredible kindness of the owner. She’s a truly wonderful person who went out of her way to make me feel welcome and supported. She helped with my laundry, assisted in planning my trip, stored my luggage while I travelled, and even prepared a thoughtful takeaway lunch for my journey. Her generosity and warmth touched me deeply. I can’t recommend this place highly enough — it’s more than just a hotel, it’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for. I’ll definitely be staying here again and recommending it to everyone.
