I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable holiday experience. Thank you for everything! We've found a hidden gem! I'm so excited to share my experiences about the coconut camp The accommodation was so clean and modern. As well as the super cool glamping tent, there was a lovely little terrace where you could chill. The owner was so friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The breakfast and dinner were simply mouth-watering! We also booked a safari through the accommodation, which was an absolute dream!

The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast offered with a wide variety of food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in beautiful area and it's very calm and relax environment. I really enjoyed our safari tour with hotel owner. Everything at Amba Kola was exceptional - especially the people. Louise, Janik, and Janik’s whole family are the loveliest people you will meet. The food is fantastic - everything is locally sourced and prepared with the finest spices and lots of love (Janik’s mom is an award-winning cook by the way). At Amba Kola the hosts will go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. They took us around in their safari jeep to see the elephants and wildlife and we even went swimming in the canal! The room (and the whole property) are lovely with so many personal touches to it. Louise is an artist and her art is present all over the place! Also, the outdoor bathroom is unique. I showered in the dark under the stars - an experience like no other. All I can say is: Come to Amba Kola and see for yourself. These people deeply care for what they do and it shows in every aspect. You won’t be disappointed!

Wild Lake Side is a gem. Milan and his family took extra care and attention for our 3-night stay. The cabin was fantastic and built with care. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the stream and jungle was a peaceful treat. We enjoyed the homecooked meals very much, and the family was very flexible with timing and variety of options. They organized two 4-hour private safaris for us in their very cool vintage safari vehicle that was the perfect size for two people. We chose to do morning and afternoon safaris on two separate days and it was a nice balance of relaxing at the cabin and enjoying the park. Our guide was exceptional as he shared many details about the range of birds and animals we encountered. This was our second time visiting Sri Lanka and our stay here stands out as the best experience.

The room is perfect! Great bed with a mosquito net, fan, shower and awesome balcony to sit on and watch the elephants go by! We did the safari with them and loved it so much! Was such an amazing experience! You can order whichever meals you please and it was always a feast!

What an authentic experience !..a very special time was had by myself and my daughter..a lovely jungle set up ..Prashan , the host was so friendly and helpful providing us with teas and coffees and any assistance we needed. Fire lit evening meals which were delicious compliments to the chef.. felt magical next to the river...They provided a private jeep for the next day all day safari package which i highly recommend as we saw nearly all the animals present....from elephants to snakes and then came back to a very comfortable tent with en suite bathroom. We enjoyed an early morning boat ride before we left . The wildlife and birds around the camp were incredible ...would highly recommend as we will definately return

We loved our stay at Buddika’s! Buddika (the host) was so friendly, spoke excellent English and arranged everything for us: both the safari and dinner afterwards. He gave us helpful, objective advice for our travels and he even found some medicine for me when I was ill. The location is at the gate to the national park and the room was very clean and spacious. Nice hot water in the shower.
