Suddenly we booked the hotel .we are not expected like such a welcoming by hosts.it’s such a like small jungle beside the road.such a valuable herbs ,spices and so many fruits in the garden they well maintained. Special thing is we sow so many birds and squirrels were playing around the garden.our room out side was full of flowers and trees Rooms are neat and clean,bed was comfortable with all facilities . Special thing is foods that they made from garden vegetable and home made spices,the best Sri Lankan rice and curry that I ever had.they felt like home to us. Loved see again that beautiful smiles and kindness.

Stayed for 3 nights and this was our favourite place during our Sri Lanka trip. Homely feel and amazing food and service. Enjoyed the library and endless cups of excellent tea. Our room was comfortable and clean, lots of hot water. Wifi worked very well in the library area. Tea tasting was interesting and some nice walks in the area. Thanks to Dave and the staff for a memorable stay :)

We had a truly amazing experience here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable. The food was amazing and the chef made sure the spice levels was too our liking. The pool overlooking the mountains was truly magical and was the icing on the cake for this wonderful property. We wish we had more time here.

I cycled up to the Silver Hill Ecovillage and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Prosanna is a hospitable and engaging host. He kindly lent me his binoculars for some amazing birdwatching. The immediate views from the rooms and terrace are spectacular. His staff are very kindly attentive and prepared some wonderfully healthy home cooked food using locally grown produce. I was impressed with the outstanding scenery and unique location of the Silver Hill Ecovillage. I am so pleased and privileged to have had the chance to stay at this tranquil and mellow

Definitely the best place we stayed at in Sri Lanka. Pradeep and his family - his little daugther tia was so cute - were super welcoming and taught us a lot about the Sri Lankan culture, the farm life and much more. The sunset tour and the farm tour were a big bonus! The food was delicious, the pool was the perfect cool down after a hot day. Also a very big shout out to Deshani, who was super friendly and answered all our questions, always with the biggest smile - fell like talking to a friend! We are definitely coming back soon!

This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful, nature-surrounded retreat and honestly, I wish I could have stayed longer. The entire experience was incredibly calming — nestled in the heart of nature, the serenity of the surroundings was just what we needed to unwind. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. This was one the best hotels i stayed in my time in Sri Lanka. The staff was great and the owner even more so. I did a tour with him through the knuckle forest reserve and it was absolutely beautiful. He also knew a great deal about the places we went to and the local community. The hotel was clean, had a good vibe and the vieuw from my room was amazing. 2 other rooms where being built and he had plans to put in a pool. If this place gets known, its going to be packed with tourist. I would highly recommend this place and if i ever go to Sri Lanka again, this hotel is going to be at the top of my list.
