Very clean and comfortable room, well maintained guest house. Location was beautiful and quiet, very friendly awesome hospitality. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. This is best choice for adams peak climbing. Highly recommend this place and definitely return here

Priyanga was very kind and helpful, he cooked us the best meals that offered some variety from what ate on our trip, gave us good tips and helped us organise our next activity. He even preprared some homemade medicine for a sore throat! We are really grateful to have had him as our host, we will always remember his hospitality. Greetings to you, Priyanga! The house‘s location is a 10/10, less than a 15 min drive from the Adam‘s Peak start and is surrounded by a great landscape, especially in comparison to Dalhousie (where the hike starts), so it‘s really worth the short ride.

This is such a lovely place! We ended up here because another hotel had a double booking. We planned om staying only 2 nights and ended up staying 5 nights. It is such a relaxing place and the hosts are so incredibly welcoming and caring... Absolutely lovely. Do not expect a fancy hotel, but an sincere, cosy homestay/guesthouse with hosts that are simply beautiful people. Also the food was just great!

It’s in such a beautiful location and convenient to nearby Laxapana and Adams peak The owner and staff really can’t do enough for you and are so helpful and friendly. The homemade food is also fantastic!!

We had a warm welcome with tea/coffee offered upon arrival. During the stay the host was very approachable for any questions we had. It’s conveniently located and walking distance to the entrance of Adams Peak. Nice breakfast is served, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Our host, Dhammika, was exceptional. He was so welcoming and incredibly helpful & knowledgeable about places to visit & how to get there. He organised a private tour for us to The Tea Fields, a superb experience where you not only see how tea is made in the factory but you walk around the beautiful plantation, meet the tea pluckers and get the fascinating history of tea in Sri Lanka (Rimas was passionate about the subject). Dhammika also organised a top-notch safari for us in Uda Walawe, our next destination (Chamara was another great guide). Food at Traveller’s Villa is DELICIOUS, some of the very best we had in all of Sri Lanka. Cooked by Dhammika’s ‘Auntie’, it is fresh and inventive and authentic, both breakfast and dinner. You feel so at home in their home. It’s a great place to stay if you want to climb Adam’s Peak and it’s outstanding value, too. We were so glad we chose Traveller’s Villa. It’s a hidden gem.

    The location is easily accessible from the main road and parking is available. The view is exceptionally beautiful. The family room we booked is spacious, clean and comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and host and the staff were friendly and helpfull and did the maximum to make our stay enjoyable.Surely they know what they are to do. Meals were delicious. The hospitality we received is best. Definitely worth the money spent. Would visit again.

    We loved the hosts, Ishara and Yudantha. They were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay special. The food really tasty and they were always accomodating to our needs. The location was also excellent and had beautiful views of Adam’s peak.

    We stayed there 2 nights and it was lovely. Owners were such a cute family and always smiling to us. Owners mother cooks delicious food and brings to you with open heart. Room was good and cozy, with hot water and air conditioner. Hotels location was perfect, buses to Adam's Peak or Hatton was right in front of it. Also owner was really helpfull. Highly recomended!

    Beautiful location right on the lake. Maskeliya is a lovely little town with a lot of great things to do in the surrounding area (Sri Pada, tea plantations, Gartmore Falls). Mountain View rooms were spacious and well equipped. Ishara and her husband, Yugantha, were fantastic hosts - they took care of our every need (e.g., organising transport, tours, food preferences), always with a smile on their face. Yugantha’s food was always delicious, especially his rice and curry.

    The host (young guy) was very nice, made us feel comfortable & welcomed on arrival. The place itself is lovely with a balcony overlooking the hills & a spacious double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Everything was very clean. The host gave us an extra drying rack to hang out some wet clothes we had. The location is very good, we did a tour of the beautiful lake & waterfalls by tuk tuk which was incredible (the views!) We also had dinner here (kottu) which was very tasty & affordable price.
