The stay is in the middle of the jungle, and that’s what makes it very unique and appealing. The host grows many fruits and trees themselves which they use to prepare local/organic food. Very friendly host, thank you for the pleasant stay. We wish we could’ve stayed for a few more days.

This fantastic hotel is set in the middle of nature. If you like seeing and hearing birds, then this place is great, with over 25 species in 1 night stay. The room was large, the linens were high quality, and it was all very clean. We had a kettle for making coffee, good AC, and fan. We had a room with a great view over the garden towards the lake. The owner, Chandana, was very friendly and spoke good English. The hotel is very well decorated and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting to watch the wildlife at sunset on the bench provided. The garden is also a haven for wildlife and has a lot of interesting trees. He provided us with the best Sri Lankan breakfast we have had in a month. It was outstanding, with some of it made by his wife. Him and his staff member were very kind to help us change the wheel on our tuktuk, too. A wonderful place to stay. We stayed for a halfway point between Kandy and Negombo

A wonderful and comfortable hotel in a stunningly beautiful place on the lake. A spacious room with a balcony overlooking the lake and the sunrise. Delicious food and a pleasant stay. I felt attention and care throughout my stay. Next time I visit Sri Lanka I will definitely come to this wonderful hotel.

A special place in the countryside. The staff are welcoming & helpful, a beautiful pool and lovely gardens. A retreat from a busy life. Dinner & breakfast we’re surprisingly delicious as we only booked a couple of hours before arrival.

We had a really lovely stay at Pearly‘s! Ranjan the owner organized a cheap tour to the Knuckles Mountains by TukTuk for us. He also joined us to show us all the beautiful places over there. We went to a waterfall where we were able to go swimming and we also enjoyed the nice views. For breakfast we had typicall Sri Lankan food and also some Western options. Pearly the owners wife prepared everything for us. After that we were able to have a look into their home and talked about different topics. Our highlight was when Ranjan took us to local spice shops where we bought really cheap vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. We enjoyed everything about our stay there. Thanks for having us! P.S.: The sunrise from the terrace was stunning and there were many monkeys to see.

This is the second time I stayed in this place. As usual, I find this place is safe and private, clean,safe and welcoming. It is good value for money. Also easier for travel arrangement to get done. The host is helpful if you need further assistance, help, preparation.

Jay’s and Anju’s place is one that cannot be missed! ! Located on the route from Dambulla to Kandy close to both cities and many other attractions, like hill walks or waterfalls. The hospitality they offer is 5 star and the authentic food, mostly prepared from ingredients grown in their garden, is just unbeatable. You can feel Anju puts her heart and soul into the food. It was one of the most amazing stays we had. We were well taken care of and the food was out of this world. They make all the food in house and it’s super delicious. Edward, the manager speaks really good English and will accompany you on giving tips around what can be done in the area. The hotel is placed in a calm estate so you hear birds and insects and a lot of nature. Overall it was a superb stay and we wish we could stay there for a bit longer.
