Really cool hotel with nice design and furnishing. We had dinner at the hotel which was a three course meal served outside which was very nice. Room was very comfortable and hosts were great. The pool looked great but unfortunately we didn’t have time to make the most of it.

The location is spectacular. You can walk through the old city in the evening, when all the tourists are gone and you wake up in the perfect location to go see the sunrise from the hill in front of the city (10 minute walk).

Lovely quiet place, off the beaten track, ahmed was kind and took care of us. Traditional architecture. Nice breakfast, very tasty tagine.

He was incredibly attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable, personalized, and memorable. Whether it was providing insightful local recommendations or sharing fascinating stories about the area, he made us feel genuinely welcome and enriched our cultural immersion. Riad Tigmi Du Soleil is a magical blend of traditional Moroccan aesthetics and modern comforts. Each room is thoughtfully designed, exuding an old-world charm while boasting the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The Riad offers an ideal retreat for those who seek tranquillity amidst authentic Moroccan architecture. One of the Riad's main highlights is its location. Ait Ben Haddou, with its unique earthen clay architecture, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a jewel of Moroccan history. The food served at the Riad is another aspect worth mentioning. The breakfast served was a fantastic start to the day, featuring a variety of local bread, jams, fresh fruit, and Moroccan tea. Overall, our stay at Riad Tigmi Du Soleil was a sublime blend of comfort, culture, and authentic Moroccan hospitality. It is a place where one can feel the true essence of Morocco, thanks to the genuine warmth of the host and the enchanting ambiance of the property and its surroundings.

Dar Bilal's owner is warm and friendly! He always welcomed us with mint tea, nuts and sweets. The accommodation is arranged with attention to detail. Breakfast is very tasty and plentiful. The lady-chef cooks deliciously, I recommend trying the dinner there! Everything perfect!

We met a tour guide who has been giving tours around Morocco for 20 years and she said this in her top 3 places to stay in all of Morocco. We had the most relaxing time, eating fantastic food and enjoying the beautiful landscape. What makes this Auberge special is Idriss. His relaxed and joyous demeanour is infectious! I would absolutely recommend having dinner at the auberge to experience their cooking and to walk over to Ait Benhaddou via the palms. Keep an eye out for what we dubbed squirrel mountain to see some adorable squirrels scuttling around. We even witnessed our first moon rise over the adjacent hills which was as magical as it sounds. If you are travelling to this region then definitely stay here, you won't regret it.

We had the most wonderful stay at Road Caravane in Aït Ben Haddou! From the moment we arrived, Slimane and Hassan welcomed us not just as guests but truly as friends. They looked after us with such kindness and generosity, making us feel completely at home. What made our stay even more special were the lovely conversations we shared with them. They gave us beautiful insights into Moroccan life and culture, and it felt like spending time with family rather than in a hotel. And honestly, the place itself looks much better in real life than in the photos — a lovely surprise! We left with full hearts, great memories, and the certainty that we’ll be back. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Aït Ben Haddou.

I arrived on the pushbike, shivering a bit as it was cold and Mohammad offered me instantly a hot tea and put the gas heater in front of me. Exceptionally care taking of guests. It went on like this.
