First of all, I highly recommend you read it until the end. An excellent facility on a small and quiet local island full of underwater riches. As soon as you put your feet into the water at the tourist beach, you are surrounded by dozens of different species of fish, but swimming with the fish seen on Youtube is a priceless experience. Mr. Ahmad, the owner of the hotel, is a very polite and helpful person. He is very professional in making all the necessary arrangements for you when you arrive from the capital to the island, in welcoming you at the entrance and when you leave the island. If you want to participate in off-island activities, they will help you as much as they can. You have breakfast as an open buffet at the best restaurant on the island. You should definitely try the product made especially from fresh tuna. Among the 4 hotels I stayed in on 4 different islands during my Maldives trip, this was definitely the newest, cleanest and cheapest. I can guarantee that you will feel at home in this hotel. I would also like to consider that restaurants, off-island activities, and many other things on the island are cheaper than on many tourist islands. Also; Mahibadhoo may not be the best island in the Maldives, but it is a fact that there are better ones in terms of nature and tourism. But if you really want to relax in a quiet environment, this quiet and tiny island located in the natural wonder South Ari Atoll is definitely one of the best local islands you can find. Never mind that the tourist beach is smaller than some, because there are only a few people on the beach at most, so the beach is yours! I definitely recommend splitting your Maldives holiday across more than one island, as I did, and devoting at least some of it to this island and this hotel.

Very nice and clean hotel, conveniently located close to bikini beach. Its beautiful terrace allows you to eat with a view of the sea. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff and their ability to meet our needs and fulfil our wishes made our stay at Vilu Thari Inn perfect. Everything. The location in the island was unbeatable, next to the pier to see the sharks. The staff? EVERYONE was great, and Abdulla (hopefully I spelt it correctly) was SO KIND. The welcome to the hotel was incredible, and it really felt like they were there for us for anything. Also, the property was incredible. The best indoors we've seen in the Maldives, especially for guest houses. All and all, we agreed that having chosen their guesthouse was one of the best decisions we made on this trip.

Hassan and his team made sure we had the most amazing time possible. We were picked up by the jetty, greeted wirh fresh coconut and flowers. As we are divers, we had our wonderful breakfast quite early, and were always spoiled. In the evening Hassan would wait for us in case we needed help for the next day. He organized the ferry boat, recommended a dive center with nitrox, and answered all our questions. After a day or two we called this place our home. Our expectations were exceeded, we wish Hassan a prosperous future and lots of relaxed guests.

We enjoyed our stay a lot ! Super cozy place, hotel team does it’s very best to make your stay pleasant and always available in case any need. Rooms are clean and the cleaning done each day, food is the best you can find on local island and cook accommodates all food preferences, internet works perfect. Everything was fantastic. The staff were so communicative, from catching the speedboat to taking us to the ferry when we left. The room was lovely and the food incredible. Actually the best we had on the island. We were given free snorkel equipment and water with our meals. We loved it so much we changed our plans to extend two nights, but we wish we’d extended longer. The value for money is unreal, we can’t wait to return.

The location is just superb! Literally ten meters from the nicest beach on the island, which also has a great house reef for snorkling. The hotel provides you with equipment for that if you need it. The food and staff is also great!

We spent 3 wonderful nights in Raalhu Fonu, we received a warm welcome and were very happy with the room. It was clean and in a good location with a beautiful bikini beach and a house reef for snorkeling. The island is not too touristy but still offers good restaurants and tours. we got a very authentic insight into the Maldives.

The room is very clean. The staff was very kind as well. The beach spreads out in front of you, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Bikini Beach. I recommend staying at this hotel when you come to Maldives. breakfast is so delicious.

Genuinely friendly staff, answered all our questions, helped us explore the island, arranged a great whale shark snorkelling trip just for my family. Hotel food was the best we had in the Maldives. Hotel was very very clean (all the places we stayed in Maldives were clean). Island had an amazing house reef if you are a competent swimmer, also good for paddle boarding. Just brilliant place to go.
