The room was large enough for us to comfortably use it. Everything we needed was there. There is a large private ensuite bathroom. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The left wonderful hone baked snacks every day. Breakfast was great with several options. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We highly recommend this location.

Dear Madeleine and family, We were happy about this cozy and comfy place and the surrounding area to reach within a couple of minutes. Even when we ask for an outdoor eating table, maybe a special request at that time of the year, you just got one for us. If you don't want to get into Auckland by car, easy and relaxed way by bus. Very old style, large, comfortable home with a small private swimming pool and a constantly hot hot tub outside. We enjoyed our stay in this period residence. Some bedrooms are ensuite and others are not. Ensuite in the blue room is very compact. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Good facilities in the kitchen. This house has a "family run" type atmosphere.

Very handy to go snorkelling near Goat Island. Penny was very kind and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Lots of rooms to use , plenty of breakfast.There was lots to do in the area which unfortunately we didn’t have time for.
