Extraordinary experience in this agro forestry quiet, renewing paradise. Mariel welcomed us warmly and acquitainted us well with Casa Quetzal, which far exceeded our expectations. Chief Botanist Rodolfo Flores guided me through the edible forest. Words are inadequate to express the beauty and wonder of this incredible Bosque! The perfect long pool , steps away from our back porch, is great for laps and being surrounded by towering trees full of ferns, wild orchids, and gorgeous birds. Thanks so much, Wanakeset, Mariel, and Rodolfo! We're eager to return!

Everything about this property is amazing. It is private, gorgeous, clean, well planned, quiet, in the perfect location, gracious hosts. This may well be the best property we have ever stayed at in our years of traveling. The treehouse was an exceptional experience. The sound of the river lulled us to sleep. We watched many birds along the river. We were close to hot springs, the canyon,and Boquete. If yoi love nature, this is paradise.

I'm a returning guest, I love it here. Excellent location away from the noise an pollution of David, on the road to Boquete, nestled in a pocket of ancient rainforest with its own waterfall you can swim in, plus 2 pools, large tropical gardens with birds, butterflies, flowers, the occasional sloth etc etc. You really feel like you are close to nature and away from the stresses of the world...... but at the same time there is everything you need; wifi, kitchen, bar, restaurant, hammocks. Great place to unwind. Peter is a top bloke who wants everyone to be happy and he loves to have a COLD beer with the guests. Easy to get there by road/bus from David. Cheers Peter.

We stay at the Hotel de Ciudad David every time we visit David. The staff are always extremely friendly and professional, the breakfast is great and my kids love the pool. It is in an extremely central location, easily able to get a taxi if you want to explore further afield.

Residencial Coya provides accommodations in David. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

The owners/hosts are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. On our first visit, we arrived late at night (~22:00) and they still greeted us warmly, offered us a snack (cheese sandwich with a glass of milk), and took time to chat with us. We had to leave early the next morning (~5:30), but even at that hour they got up especially to offer us a delicious cup of coffee. We had some questions about facilities in David for our second visit, and they especially looked up information and made phone calls for us, and stayed in contact with us before our second visit. We had a little more time during our second visit. Because we weren't leaving so early, we got a proper little breakfast, with coffee, freshly-pressed orange juice, and a cheese sandwich. It was also a great opportunity to chat with other travelers and with our hosts. Overall, we really enjoyed our two stays at Residencial Coya and would definitely stay there again the next time we're in David.
