We booked this tiny cabin for 3 nights during november (during first snowfall of the year at Acadia, so it was chilly outside) and were very pleased with how cosy everything was! The heater was enough to get the cabin up to temperature (bathroom was a little cooler, but nothing a hot shower can't fix). The kitchen was véry well equiped, we had everything we needed and more. The bed was very comfortabel en there is enough room to store luggage (no closet however). Check-in was easy with code lock. This was a super charming way to visit Acadia, location was A++, would definitely recommend!

Central House is exceptionally well placed in Bar Harbour with great access to all amenities and a great breakfast is available just one block away. The rooms are old-fashioned but exceptionally well presented and clean with all modern amenities. The porch gives the property amazing curb-side appeal. Would recommend without hesitation.

The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The property is in a wonderful location and we were able to walk to local restaurants and shops. Our room was nicely appointed with views of the water. The breakfast area was extremely pleasant and the staff went out of their way to accommodate special food needs. A wonderful inn!
