Mao and his wife were so great and kind people. The village is so beautiful and Mao show us how they make incense. He also show us the paper and forging village by motobike. And we also climbed in top of a mountain to have a pointview of the village. The food was really good and the house really clean. I really recommend this peaceful place !!

Loved the location and the view, facing the Quay Son River, with a wide baywalk that gets merry in the evenings. It is amidst many excellent eating places. We loved the banh cuon at the back for a very early breakfast (open at 530AM), Mixue and Banxue for drinks and ice cream, and Banh Mi Thu Thang, recommended by the owner, which was so good that we ate there twice. We are very grateful to the owner for opening the guesthouse for us very early in the morning, as our bus from Hanoi arrived at 430AM. He also pre-booked for us a private car for a day tour at a very reasonable rate, with a very capable, knowledgeable and caring driver. We were so impressed with him that we booked him again for another day tour on our second day. In so doing we were able to save on our travel expenses, which turned out significantly lower compared to booking a package tour. The property owner also booked for us our overnight bus back to Hanoi, at a cheaper rate compared to purchasing online, and which unloaded at the bus station closer to Hanoi than My Dinh. He also took care of our taxi going to the bus station. Our room looked exactly like the photos, even better, and the view from the 4th floor was nice, especially in the early morning. Our beds were huge and very comfy.

A cosy and beatiful homestay a few minutes walk from Cao Bang's centre. The room was exceptionally clean and new, very comfy bed and big bathroom with hot water. The house is made with soul and has an arty touch with beautiful paintings all around. The owners are the best, always smiling, friendly and with a sense of humour. We did a tour with Vuong to 3 ethnic villages plus the Angel's eye mountain, and had the best time! We were only 2 of us and really experienced the life of the handicraft villages and got to know a bit more of the Vietnamese culture thanks to Vuong's clear explainations. The landscape around is breathtaking and the dinner included in the tour, cooked by his wife, was just delicious! If you're looking from an off- the beaten track experience that's the place to go!

This homestay exceeded our expectations! We were really satisfied with our host, who helped us with finding the most beautiful spots in the area to visit. Also, she came prepared with a map of need-to-know information about restaurants, supermarkets, and food places which sold local specialties. We had booked a two persons room with our own bathroom. Everything was really tidy. We didn't book a room for the night on our last day in Cao Bằng. However, she still made sure there was a bathroom available for us so we could take a shower after our hiking tour. This is a great place to stay, and I would recommend it to anyone!

From the moment you arrive, you can feel the care and professionalism that has gone into this homestay. • Room & Facilities The mattress was the most comfortable one I’ve had in a month of traveling in Northern Vietnam – I slept perfectly. The room is spacious, very clean, and well equipped: plenty of towels, a TV, and even water provided in the room. • Cleanliness & Comfort Everything was spotless, from the bathroom to the living area. You immediately feel comfortable and well taken care of. • Food & Value The bistro food is delicious, and the western dishes are also very well prepared, all at a very fair price. In addition, guests can order from the menu of the café just around the corner, which is owned by the same host. It offers a wide variety of tasty dishes, drinks, and teas. • Service & Atmosphere The staff are enthusiastic, warm, and always helpful. You feel truly welcome and well looked after. You Can feel that they Like Their Job :) • Location The location in the center, directly by the river, is ideal for exploring Cao Bang while also enjoying a relaxing atmosphere.
