Plettenvale is a perfect farm stay very close to Plettenberg Bay! From the moment we arrived at this stunning farm in Plettenberg Bay, we were blown away by the warmth and hospitality of our hosts - Dirk and Mariesa. This place is a hidden gem, offering an authentic, peaceful escape surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of nature. The accommodation was cozy and impeccably clean, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. The views from our room were absolutely spectacular, with rolling hills, a beautiful dam and vinyards. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. They took the time to share their knowledge of the local area, offering recommendations for things to do in Plettenberg Bay and beyond. We left feeling completely refreshed and already planning our next visit!

The host is so amazing. We were supposed to check in at 2pm but we ended up being late and coming in at 6pm. The hosts were so friendly and amazing people. The house itself is just something else. It’s peaceful , clean and very modern. I wish we had stayed there longer.

Loved the cottage. Very clean and homey. Beautiful serene area and relaxing. Really really impressed. The host Jolene greeted us at the entrance and explained everything needed, pretty easy. Will definitely be back.

It has been a wonderful place to stay, whether for a short or long time. The house is beautiful, located in the middle of a farm and right in front of the elephants’ reserve path. Every day, when they walk by, you can see them in the distance while comfortably enjoying your breakfast. The house itself is truly charming and comfortable. Everything was new, and we found all the essentials we may need. But the best part is the owners. They are lovely people who showed us around the farm and shared their stories with us. They are fascinating, kind, and make you want to keep listening and learning more. Anyone who loves animals or plants would truly enjoy hearing them talk and witnessing their love and care for their animals. It has been a real pleasure meeting them. Thank you for your kind gestures, and especially for the handmade bread and marmalade you left for us in the house—they were absolutely delicious! We felt as comfortable as if we were with close friends.

Amazing eggs benny breakfast and literally the best cappuccino I’ve ever had included in the R400 solo room. The most beautiful location, convenient and lots of nature and attractions. The owners were simply fantastic. They provided an incredible amount of support and were always available. They have a very cool coffee shop downstairs with probably the best coffee I have had in South Africa. I highly recommend recommend staying in the units. The units have breathtaking views over the ocean and the location is probably the best you’ll get being centrally located on the Main Street of town which has many shops and excellent restaurants.
