Housed in a building dating from 2010, this apartment is 1.4 km from Los Alemanes Beach and 600 metres from Tortuga Bay. The apartment features family rooms. An extraordinary place to stay, Sophia is the best host I met in quite a while. The room is huge, clean, comfortable. At checkout I could even keep the room some longer because I had the ferry to Isabela at 3PM. Great service!

It's 2 km from the airport, 10-15 minutes walk from the main pier. In general you can get by walk everywhere and there's a lot of shopes around (unfortunatelly with no big choice and without prices displayed but it's a norm on San Cristobal). Alexita and her daughter, who live in the house, are friendly. There are two rooms for rent, one with private bathroom. Whole house is clean, kitchen is well equiped and there's a washing machine you could use for free (and place to dry clothes).

The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is 500 metres from Tortuga Bay. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Beautiful apartment on 2 levels. Very clean and well maintained. Fully equipped kitchen and filtered water. Big bathroom. Walter was very helpful and communication was great. Close to local shops and to the entrance to Tortuga Bay. Excellent value for money.

This review is written by me but is headlined by Kathryn my friend who made the booking. 🤔La Casa de Amelia is a first rate operation. I stayed there for 9 nights very recently. There are three reasons why I rate this hostal so highly. Firstly, comfort. I had a full one bedroom apartment with all amenities. The unit is bright, very high ceilings, excellent AC, full kitchen, clean and has great Galápagos character. Secondly, value. This is incredible value! Thirdly and most of all, the hosts - they are such a charming and real couple. Anita and her husband Danielle are the real deal. They are most gracious. Thank you guys.

There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The bed and breakfast features garden views, an outdoor fireplace, and free WiFi is available. Lenke is amazing! She was so communicative and responsive from the moment we booked and throughout our stay. She sat down with us and told us about her favorite restaurants, lent us aloe when I got sunburned, and let us borrow her fins since we had had trouble finding some in the size we needed. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with hot water in the shower and an air conditioner that worked well. We ended up booking a few tours through her as too and we were so pleased with the quality of those as well. Can't recommend the Black Pearl enough!
