This holiday home features free private parking and luggage storage space. The property offers barbecue facilities and outdoor furniture. I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.

Every detail had been thought of; two pieces of lemon drizzle cake in the room as a welcome was a lovely touch. The room is beauitfully appointed, very spacious with views on the beautiful grounds that surround the house, and it's own separate entrance (only the Balmain room has this I think) The bed is huge and super comfortable, we slept so well. The bathroom is also spacious and luxurious. Breakfast is made to order each morning, in addition to a breakfast buffet that you can help yourself to. Louise bakes all the cakes herself and they are superb. This is a stay I will always remember.
