The style and comfort were tantamount to a 5 diamond hotel. The owners were absolutely amazing. I can not stress how important they made each and every guest feel, like you were not just a guest but part of their extended community.

The place is gorgeous and Mike adapted to our timetables and dietary restrictions with the breakfast (one of us is on a gluten and dairy-free diet). He also gave us tips and answered all our questions, and also answered quickly via whatsapp, even way before our trip when we were figuring our transport out of Bocas. The location is slightly out of town so the vibes are relaxed and very cool. The ride to town is just 1$ per person, very easily done with taxis and busses passing all the time. I would highly recommend!

Free water and coffee for guests. You can swim in the sea from their dock - very convenient as there are no good beaches in walking distance. The dock is beautiful just to sit at, too. Super friendly stuff. Pricey, yet good restaurant right at the sea. Happy hour cocktails. 10-min walk from boats and water taxis dock. Cute little town - restaurants, street food, supermarkets - all convenient.

Couples love the location - rated 9.5 for two-person trips. It’s a nice hostel just next to the docks in Bocas Town so very convenient location, multiple supermarkets around as well as restaurants and all tour operators. Also the local busses around the main island leave from the street behind. The beds are comfy and rooms spacious. No AC in most of Bocas hostels, we had a ceiling fan that didn’t rotate very fast so it got quite humid at times in the room but we had a little balcony to dry our stuff there. There is a common kitchen with good facilities and first time I see the fridges divided into sections by the room numbers, which was amazing. Another guest though still decided to steal our food (caught on security cameras) but the hostel staff handled it fantastically. We also got an extra blanket when requested and wanted to extend our stay with one more night and that was also immediately arranged for us.

The house includes 4 rooms on the 2nd floor. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with shower and warm water. Rooms on the ground floor share an outdoor warm water shower and bathroom. Facilities include a living room, dining room, kitchen and a terrace. We had an amazing stay; Marco and his team are so kind the whole time, and made us feel at home. The breakfast was incredible, the trust bar worked fantastically... Really nothing bad to mention about Barrbra. There is also a dock there where you can get taxis into town or book tours- so you don't even need to go into town for activities if you don't want to! The place itself is beautifully decorated with a great common area. The wifi was great to work and take calls; sometimes it cut out but that was an island wide thing. AC in the room was incredible and a godsend Would come back here if we return to Bocas del Toro
