He always made sure we had everything we needed :) also he took us on a tour into chigaga wich was one of the best experiences ever for us so far! We had a great time and would definetely come back. Hopefully we will manage sometime :)

At Majorelle Desert Camp, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and specialises in African cuisine. Absolutely stunning what these young guys managed to build there in the desert. Luxurious and very clean tents, beautifully decorated with nice carpets and cushions. They even managed to build a fully functioning private toilet, sink with running water and shower inside the tents. Mohammed, his brother and friends run the camp and have been fantastic hosts, very friendly, kind and funny. For dinner we had a wonderful meal of delicious zaalouk and other freshly made salads, the best beef tajine we have ever tasted and a lovely dessert. Breakfast the next day was also excellent. It was the perfect opportunity to enjoy and experience the desert, which in itself was breathtakingly sensational.

I had the most wonderful experience at the camp - as a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly well cared for, and I would like to recommend this experience to all other travelers. Tents are standing in quite a distance from each other, which allows for privacy. Bathrooms are super clean, showers have warm water. Food is amazing! Seriously - made with love and care from fresh ingredients. I had a day trip to see the high dunes, which was the highlight of my stay in Morocco. Memories from it will stay with me forever. At night, you can see Milky Way. This is a true desert experience & I would love to recommend it to anyone looking for something genuine and authentic.

Our hosts picked us up, showed us around, and made us feel at home. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding, with so much delicious food. We had a great time sitting under the open sky. The luxury tent offers inner courtyard views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. I truly cannot recommend this enough. This is not a place to stay but rather an experience. You are taken away from touristy Mhamid into a small desert camp (a few tents and buildings) nestled between sand dunes at the base of the large Chegaga dune. I would recommend longer than just one night here, as during the day there is a beautiful shady spot with pillows and couches to lounge in with a full view of the dunes, as well as camel rides and other activities available. The camp is small, and we were there with only one other family. It is extremely quiet and peaceful and feels like a retreat. Mohamed and Ali are gracious hosts and prepared delicious meals for us. It was a pleasure getting to know them a bit and hearing about the nomadic lifestyle of the Berber people. They both have a manner that puts guests at ease. The tents were clean and tastefully decorated, with extremely comfortable bedding. My travel companion has a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating, serving rice instead of bread. Also, if you take the transfer (recommended, the road is not passable for most vehicles) there is a safe guarded parking lot to leave your car for 2 euros a day.

Guests at the luxury tent can make the most of yoga classes offered in-house. We enjoyed our stay at Nomads Heaven Camp very much. Moloud is a very experienced host and guide, very proficient in different languages. Very friendly! Food was good and typical moroccon dishes for breakfast and dinner. Everything was reasonably priced. It was very quiet, approximately 6 km from Mhamid. You live in tent-like clay buildings. It was rather warm inside during the night. So we did not need warmer clothes inside. You can walk 200-300 m and you enter an area with smaller dunes with super fine sand. We just sat there and enjoyed a sunset and sunrise there. So it is "desert experience light". Be aware that the real desert with the big 100m high dunes is 60 km/ 2h away. Moloud could have organized a tour by 4x4 and/or camel. But that would have taken us more time, also one person had health issues. So ideally you spend 2-3 days. And stay in the "real" desert overnight.

We spend here amazingly great weekend, surrounded by tranquility, hospitality and joy of simple life. It was great experience to feel how bérbere nomads live their everyday in Sahara desert. We enjoyed walking among the quiet dunes, admiring the stoning sunsets, tasting vegies from desert garden and music evenings in circle of warm fire. A true desert immersion. We had a transfer from Mahamid. Our driver and also our guide spoke great English and provided an amazing experience, showing us the Nomad villages on the way. The food (we had lunch, dinner and breakfast) was one of the best we had during our 10 days in Morocco. The camp definitely exceeded our expectations, was right next to the big dunes, was super comfortable and clean, with our tent having a private bathroom with a shower and hot water. We took a camel ride to the big sand dunes and sand boarded down them. Cannot recommend enough! An absolute must when you’re in Morocco!
