We spent New Year’s Eve at the Lodge. It was wonderful and we all agreed, we will be back for a longer stay. The pics of the rooms are pretty close to the real thing! It gives you a treehouse feeling. A little piece of paradise. Dinner (extra charge) lasted from 7 - 10:30 pm. Then we went to the beach. A bonfire was lit, music in the background, a nice reflective way to enter the new year.

The place was beautiful. Well cleaned and fully equipped kitchen. Secure location close walk to town but relatively quiet area. The host was quick to respond to any questions. We were so happy to have been able to stay here.

It’s a pretty little cozy house amongst the wonderful vibe of the surrounding nature. It’s truly a getaway from the city craziness; I wish I could live in a paradise like this! The house is tidy and has all necessary goods in the kitchen; it also has a container with water for consumption (which is great as I don’t recommend drinking water from the faucet here in Puerto Viejo). You’re literally within the mountain but also very close to Puerto Viejo downtown (by car).
