Upon arrival the host of the property met us and showed us to our room and explained pretty much everything they could about it. We didn't have any further questions as they were all answered on arrival. Very friendly hosts and the cabin was superb with the horses just behind it :).

My 9 year old loved it. The view from the lodge was lovely and the owners are really accommodating. He even let us hire his golf buggy for a small charge.

The property was beautiful with different quirky signs and features. John was lovely very welcoming and was a great host. Everything was sorted for us and things we didn’t even think of had been done. I would recommend this place. We ate at the pub ran by John and the food was amazing. We will be returning.

There was nothing about this lodge to dislike. Spacious rooms, tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen and a living room with comfy chairs and settees you can relax in without feeling on top of each other. It's set in a country and golf club, providing a quiet and relaxing setting for your stay. You will need a car if you're staying here, but parking is also provided. Good communication from the host, who also allowed us to check in early. We arrived with a few groceries but forgot the milk. Not to worry. We opened the fridge and there it was, provided by the host!

Everything you needed was thought of! So homely and amazing waking up and having your morning coffee on the deck over looking the lake. Really zen and exactly the relaxing break I was after. The lodge was perfect, had an amazing first experience water skiing !
