Kandalama Lodge is a delightful boutique hotel and is even better than the photos. So happy we decided to stay for 4 days (we had considered Jetwing Lake and the Heritance) as the hotel is absolutely perfect. My husband and I stayed in the casita with the pool while our daughters were in a two bed room. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculate — the outdoor bathroom exceeded expectations with high end fixtures and no critters even in the middle of the night. We had all meals at the property and the chefs deliver on both Sri Lankan and western food. Super fast wi-fi in the rooms and on the property. The pool and gardens create a relaxing vibe. Wedge, the owner, could not have been a more gracious and helpful host. He and the team arranged transport and local outings to Sigiriya, Minneriya, Dambulla and a spa for massages. Help was always available, if needed. Truly a wonderful place!

The pool and the huts are lovely. Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner were delicious and the host went out of her way to cook for us and help us out plan our trip. Her husband also drove us when need which was very appreciated! Thank you

This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. The food served was really delicious as well. Would recommend this 100% to anyone travelling solo or with a family.

We stayed 2 nights at the Sigiri art home. It is a lovely place hidden in the jungle. From the comfortable furniture at the patio, you can enjoy the sights of the beautiful garden. When we arrived we were welcomed very kindly. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The AC functioned perfectly. In the morning we got a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. The host and his wife are kindhearted and want to make sure your stay is up to your wishes. When we ran out of gas with our rented tuk tuk, the host even brought us to a gas station to get a bottle of fuel. He was truly a lifesaver.

It was a magical experience to stay at Dambulla tree house.The owners were very welcoming and the food on offer was totally delicious, friendly, helpful staff with a good explanation for every dish they served. If you love to cook authentic foods they arrange it in their farm hut, it's an awesome experience to know how they prepare local foods.. I loved the rustic architecture of the treehouse accommodation and the beautiful green surroundings . The bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep. I saw and heard many beautiful birds and other native wildlife, such as squirrels, jungle fowls, mongoose, land monitors and more fire flies during the night. It was a great place to relax and also a good base to visit the many sites of the cultural triangle, Dambulla, Sigiriya, Pindurangala.. They have well organized jeep safari service to watch wild elephants..

It was a very nice apartment with a small terrace to chill. The breakfast was exceptional, we never had such a good Sri Lanka breakfast. Also the garden in front of the apartment is really nice, we even saw two Tucanes.

Very nice place, very clean, with a beautiful garden (we even saw a wild peacock inside!) and views to Lion's rock. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the breakfasts were delicious. We would repeat!

Lovely friendly host family available to look after your every need. Great clean and comfortable room and bathroom in the quiet garden with private access. Big breakfast and also recommend eating in for dinner. Five minute walk to highway where there is a supermarket, bakery and cafe. Short Tuktuk ride to the Lion Rock or about 30 minutes walk down the back road to locals entrance.

It was really nice to stay there. The place is super clean&modern. If you need some help the owner is there for you. There is a big garden around the house. Breakfast was very good 👍 I really recommend to stay there !! ;)
