One of the best hotel ever. The property is modern and located inside the jungles, everything is clean and cozy. Small hotel for 5 villas, so it’s really silent. The staff was simply amazing, the food was the best in Sri Lanka. Team did their best to make us completely happy with everything.

This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. The food served was really delicious as well. Would recommend this 100% to anyone travelling solo or with a family.

We stayed 2 nights at the Sigiri art home. It is a lovely place hidden in the jungle. From the comfortable furniture at the patio, you can enjoy the sights of the beautiful garden. When we arrived we were welcomed very kindly. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The AC functioned perfectly. In the morning we got a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. The host and his wife are kindhearted and want to make sure your stay is up to your wishes. When we ran out of gas with our rented tuk tuk, the host even brought us to a gas station to get a bottle of fuel. He was truly a lifesaver.

Breakfast was big and delicious and the owner very helpful. The location was quite good as it is nearby Dambulla Cave Temples. The room is simple but comfortable and it has a private bathroom. Thank you very much!

Everything, 10/10, 5/5. We have never been so well looked after in all our travels as we have been at the tree house. What a unique experience. Lying in bed in the midst of the jungle is truly magical. What was also magical was the food created by pradeepika. Home cooked, wonderful Sri Lankan cuisine. As for pradeepika and her husband, they went over and above for us, so so kind.

I had a very good time staying at Machcha. Kamal is a great host. :) The bungalow has two rooms with terrace in a beautiful garden. You can hear and see the birds and lay down in a hammock under the trees. The owner makes breakfast with love (fresh fruits, tea, avocado with toast/Roti, smoothie, egg). The location is perfect for exploring Sigiriya Lion Rock or have a day trip to Polonnaruwa. The nature is very nice. ;) Your host can help you with information about tours and what to explore around. It's also easy to connect with other travellers in the hostels around. The rooms are big, clean and very nice. With a big bed and A/C. This is a stunning place in the heart of Sri Lanka, if you are a traveler, then this is the place for you! You are in a real jungle, you can see animals in the area, in two days we saw peacocks, monitor lizards, a rabbit, deer and even a turtle! However, you are completely safe, no one will bite or eat you, the territory is fenced. Lion Mountain and Pidurangala Mountain are very close, you can meet the sunrise on one, and the sunset on the other.
