Starlight Mountain Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Sigchos, where guests can make the most of its water sports facilities and fitness centre. This is a cute little lodge at the edge of town, with fantastic views of the adjacent valley and nearby mountains—you could even see the Quilotoa crater from here on a clear day! We had a cosy and clean private room, and the bed was super comfortable. The included dinner was lovely, as was the breakfast with an incredibly large platter of fruits. We also enjoyed hanging out in the common area too, which has a toasty fireplace, a pool table, as well as table football. All in all, we were well taken care of by Victor and Mayra, and we highly recommend staying here for the night before starting on the Quilotoa Loop trek!

It‘s approx 5 km from the entrance to the National Park. The lodge is managed very well with a consistent delivery on a high level. Great comfortable rooms with a nice oven that is being put on at 4 pm for you in your room. Great restaurant offering a changing menu of great taste and quality. Very friendly and helpful employees.
