Laugarfell Accommodation & Hot Springs is located in the Eastern Highlands and is at the border of Vatnajökull National Park. From Laugarfell you have access to many hiking trails and you are close to the road leading to Askja. Laugarfell is accessible for all types of vehicles. I Laugarfell every year in September with friends and we love this place. The staff is always so friendly. Looking forward to next year visit.

Automated check-in, no "human in the loop" nonsense :) Bathroom/shower was clean, linen was fresh, space in the room just about adequate for two people to spend the night.

Old Cottages has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Höfn, 12 km from Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. The chalet has private entrance.

The chalet provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a stovetop, and a private bathroom with shower. Kitchenware and kettle are also available. At the chalet complex, each unit includes bed linen and towels. The cottage was super nice. The pick-up was easy at the reception of the guesthouse (and there was the possibility to get dinner and breakfast there as well). The location was great. Quiet with a great view of a waterfall/the mountains and just 10 minutes drive away from the Glaciar Lagoon and Diamond Beach.

Hosts were responsive (came by with paper towels when we requested for more), and the space was just right for three adults travelling together. Location was great, 5mins away from the main town of Hofn, and dark enough for those in search of the Northern Lights.

The home is spacious and in good condition. The property is very easy to find and access was as easy as possible.
