Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. I was really happy with my decision to stay on Isla Yani - it was indeed a paradise and it exceeded my expectations 1. The island is beautiful - better than the photos - pure paradise and I think 3 nights was not too long. 2. it's very clean - the room was clean and the toilets were clean (showers maybe not so much) - there was ALWAYS toilet paper and usually soap to wash your hands 3. The food was amazing - really good and a lot of food - fresh fish at least once a day 4. prices for drinks were reasonable 5. there's no trash on the beaches or in the water 6. The staff is pretty professional - not friendly or warm exactly but this is pretty typical for hotels in Panama. 7. The agency that arranges your transport and booking was pretty good at providing me with information about my stay compared to what other travelers I met experienced. I was one of the few people who actually knew what island I was going to. 8. Accommodations were basic but comfortable. The high price that you're paying is not for the accommodations, it's for the chance to experience paradise and it's truly paradise.

A terrace is available on site and both fishing and snorkelling can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. We enjoyed the beautiful beaches and islands. The staff were very attentive. The food was very good. There was variety and plenty of good food. There were vegetables and fruit with the meals. The breeze through the cabanas' bamboo walls was nice and cool. Bring a string for hanging clothes to dry inside of the cabana. Bring dessert if you want dessert. Expect camping type conditions, showers are rain water that is not heated. If the waves are really good size, you'll need to pull your bed to the non-splashing side of the room. We really enjoyed the excursions to snorkeling sites and beaches. These cost $2 or $3 per person for the beach fees. There are places to get beverages at the other beaches so bring some money with you on the excursions, , but mostly small bills. For the 3 days/nights, we used 6 liters of bottled water per person. We brought that with us. There are other resorts on Naranjo Chico Island that have some beverages you can purchase. These cantinas are near the large shared beach.. We loved getting to know the staff. They are super people.
