I have been staying in a lot of homes in many places and this is one of the best home I have ever stayed in. The home owner had been super nice and helpful from pre arrival to post departure. The home is well equipped with all the things you need (washer and dryer) and you never thought you will need (like hiking stick) 😂 The only small issue is if guest is using public transportation to reach the place is quite a bit of uphill walk. But I don't mind the struggle as the home is so awesome. But if you are driving or using taxi, this won't be an issue at all.

The room was large, very light and spacious. Double bed, table that sat 2 so you could sit and stare out the window at the view, sofa in the room and hooks and coat hangers for towels or coats. The kitchen had enough equipment for cooking my own meals and a frige to store food in. Dry food I stored in my room. Large bathroom and space for parking my car. A short drive into town which would also be walkable. A local grocery store was close by too. The host popped in a couple of times and was friendly.

We had a truly amazing stay at this apartment in the Faroe Islands. Everything was absolutely perfect. Our host, Leona, was incredibly kind and helpful—she even went out of her way to lend us a blender and an HDMI cable for the TV, which we really appreciated. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, cosy, and exceptionally well equipped—the best we've ever stayed in. It had everything you could possibly need, from standard kitchenware to a dishwasher, coffee machine, blender, washing machine, and even a wide variety of spices for cooking. It really felt like a home away from home. The view from both the apartment and the front yard was breathtaking. We looked out over a peaceful valley with a stream and small waterfalls, and in the distance we could see the ocean and the beautiful island of Nólsoy. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the Faroes. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!

The location of the apartment was so central in Tórshavn and easily accessible to shopping and the harbour. The apartment was warm and cosy and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly liked the floor heating in the bathroom! In the little shed behind the apartment was a fully equipped laundry which was fantastic for washing and quickly drying all the wet clothing from the hikes in Faroese autumn weather! All the taxis and tour guides could easily find the apartment for pick up and drop off. It was also close to cafes and restaurants for meals and a supermarket just 5 mins walk away.
