An oasis in the middle of the desert! Special architecture that fascinates you and gives you the feeling of tranquility, but more this resort is best represented by the professional and friendly staff. At the entrance, the staff will welcome you with wet towels and treat you with drinks and smiles. They took care of every detail and helped us with our every need (we lost something small and everyone stepped up and found it). We had also reserved a room and they gave us a better room for the same price. The rooms are super clean and beautiful, but the sockets don't work for European chargers, (we had to charge them in the toilet at the socket of a toothbrush). At the check out we mention this fact and they told us that we have an universal charger and they give it to us when we ask for that. (I suggest you ask in advance for it). I advise you to rent a car to go, as it is expensive by taxi as it is far and many taxis do not come to the resort to pick you up (we called several taxi companies and they refused to come to the resort), but the hotel gives taxi options. The manager was very friendly and communicative. Also a big plus for the fact that every time they looked at us they gave us bottles of water, even when we left they gave us 6 bottles of water. I highly recommend the resort.

We really enjoyed the over-all experience, from checking in to checking out. View from the room is breathtaking. Location is very accessible. We haven't tried the breakfast though, but I am sure it is delightful. Room is very excellent and clean, all we needed and expected to be in a room are all there. STAFF ARE AMAZING!! Definitely going back soon.

Out of the Desert and Into the Future

By the Persian Gulf, Sharjah is the capital of the emirate of the same name – the only one in the UAE to have a coastline on 2 gulfs.

Although not as internationally famous as its neighbor Dubai, Sharjah still has an exciting mix of old and new. The skyline is a backdrop of skyscrapers and many modern public buildings were designed by the ruling sheikh.

In sharp contrast is the Sharjah Heritage Area, the city’s oldest part. Here historic houses line pedestrian streets featuring some of the best museums, including the excellent Islamic Museum. On its northern edge is 19th-century Al Hisn Fort, an Arabic-style building once home to the ruling family.

Shopping in Sharjah is as big as in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Its shopping centers include Ansar Mall and Mega Mall, while a more traditional experience can be found in Souk al-Arsah and the Blue Souk, so called because of its blue tiles and roof. Across the park is King Faisal Mosque, a gift from the Saudi king.

    Sharjah adjoins Dubai in the UAE but there is no interconnecting public transport so you must rely on taxis (more expensive) or Uber (better choice). People in Sharjah were quite friendly, more so than Dubai although again people were not unfriendly. While there are some interesting sites to visit, it is not as grand or varied as Dubai. That said, Dubai not that special either! Not somewhere I'll be rushing back to, but if there had not been a conference to attend, I probably wouldn't have gone there in the first place.

    The lagooon area in Sharjah was fantastic and shops are everywhere at very good prices. There are lagoon cruises organized for 30-60 minutes in the evening, very good I recommend. The Lagoon promenade is fantastic... Enjoy

    Well starting from the check-in process it was a smooth experience it was done really quickly and then the breakfast part that I enjoyed most. The professionalism of the staff that have a sense of humor and very friendly mostly Mr.Saleh that made my stay a great one, Hope to see you soon and I would recommend everyone to try it out.

    A great place to visit specially when it comes to food, shopping and visiting places of interest. A very nice less crowded and very advance and clean airport. I would definitely visit again with more time to spare. All the shops, malls and amenities are close by. You can walk along the streets to visit these places. Very homely feel. Excellent road infrastructure connecting major roads and motorways. Amazing food options and restaurants and cafes everywhere.

    Hotel location and Room rates are awsome. Room was spacious and view was good. There was a smell in bedsheets though they were clean, i think the washing powder they use is low quality. Telephone wires were old and damaged. Television was not set before, it took 3 visits to set up. Parking area was in Raml. Room service was Okay.

    The location was good near corniche. Super markets, restaurants and pharmacies around at walking distance. The room was OK and breakfast was normal. The underground parking was life saver as you can not find parking around the hotel it was totally packed. The gym although small but have all the necessary equipment for workout.
