Only restaurants, minimarkets and beachbars. No shops or small streets. The restaurants are in general overpriced compared to other areas in Albania and the food and service does not follow the high prices. Almost every inch of Dhermi is under construction for upcoming years. The sea was ok but the prices were up higher than my expectation. I would rather to go Ksamil if I ever come back to Albania again. Albania is under development for future years you could say that by looking all the things going on in the country. Beautiful beach and water, including a view of Korfu in the distance! The beach is the main draw. However, the town is very old and is mostly up the mountain a bit from the beach. I wish I could have taken a boat tour and also found a way to explore the local history more. Mr. Chicken and Luciano's are great restaurants close by the beach. Paid parking is available near the beach, but be prepared for lots of congested traffic as you get closer to the water.
