Beautiful and new room. Very comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom. Nice view from the window. 5 mins walk to the center. It's a bit of an uphill walk but nothing difficult. But most importantly, the host is super nice and always available to help. He makes sure that the guests get everything they need during their stay. Great suggestions on restaurants. He even helped me with my boarding pass. The family grocery store is just across the street, very handy. I'd definitely stay again.

Fantastic location, onsite parking, room very modern and clean with the most incredible sunset view from balcony of castle, mountains, town and sea. Very friendly and kind staff. Credit card accepted. Elevator. Breakfast incredible - best coffee, homemade eggs, fruit, bread, Albanian cheese and bread, fig jam, fig pie, etc. excellent value, highly recommend. Would give a score of 11/10 if I could.

The location was perfect and the owner’s son reserved a parking spot for me right in front. The view from the window and the bed directly of the castle was amazing. Everything felt new and clean. There was also a small kitchen just outside the room and I loved that a coffee machine and pods were provided.

Fedy the owner, is a very nice man, even though his English is not the best, he did everything he could to help us. Walking me to the nearest telephone shop to get a SIM card, arranging a car to Berat. Also it helps, that he owns an ice cream shop on the ground floor of the property. The room had a great balcony, with sweeping view of the castle, Tirana and to the right, the sea in the distance.

Kruje is charming and small.

Kruje is charming and small. You don't need more than half a day to walk through bazaar and explore the castle views and museums. You could stay longer if you are planning to do hikes in the area which we didn't have time for. It is a charming small town with great views and a nice bazaar.

Krujë is a lovely spot with both cultural and visual appeal.

Krujë is a lovely spot with both cultural and visual appeal. One day is sufficient to see what there is to experience. I stayed an extra day because I had work to do online. Be warned, this is a mountain down so you will be doing a lot of up and downhill walking. Reconsider if you have mobility issues.

Lovely and clean place.

Lovely and clean place. Though quite small, there's plenty to explore - picturesque Bazaar under the castle with loads of lovely souvenirs where everyone is sure to find something to their taste and budget. Pretty restaurants and places of accommodation. Small shops but well stocked with things you might need. Shop owners and people working in restaurants speak decent English and the menus are available in both Albanian and English. The grounds of Krujë Castle don't seem to be large but there's a lot to explore and admire. You can walk among the romantic ruins, relax and enjoy the vista. If you venture out in the countryside, you can walk in olive groves among grazing sheep, goats and cows and if you are lucky, you can meet a local riding a donkey. If you love hiking, there's Krujë mountain. The best thing about Krujë is undoubtedly its location with stunning views - and that was what we loved the most about the place!

I love the peaceful layout of the castle area and recommend the Ethnographic museum showing the way people lived from medieval times. The hiking trail up Kruje mountain was steep but there was a good zigzag track, and spectacular views. There is an interesting site at the top with lighted caves and a shrine to a Bektashi hero. This can also be reached by car along the mountain road. I liked to eat at the Horizont cafe on the mountain road with wonderful views of sunset over the sea.

Only stayed one night but enjoyed it. The hotel is very new so everything looks fresh and clean, the staff is friendly. The hotel has a restaurant that serves nice food for low prices, the restaurant has a nice view overlooking the town and mountains. The location I think is best you can get in Kruje as you are on the doorstep of the beautiful castle and have the local marker right as you step out.

Beautifull modern hotel. Really pretty. Everything was new. The location is very closeby the bazaar and the historicall centre of Kruje. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Kruje it self is small but so so beautifull. Dont miss this on your trip to Albania. The hotel is small and simple but the price is low so excellent value for money.
