A spacious apartment in a lovely house with a beautiful views to meadows and the Schneeberg mountain. The host is very kind, providing a lot of information and fruits and candies everyday. The apartment is loaded with everything need, in the kitchen there is coffe, tea, milk, condiments, for entertainment there is a tv with a wii console loaded with games (!), table football, table tennis, darts, and a Sauna we didn't have time to check. Highly recommended

Overall a great place, which still looks like in its glory, a hundred or so years ago. Mainly a seminar hotel, but happy to receive individual guests. Easy train ride from Vienna 70 min to Payerbach-Reichenau. From there the hotel offers transport, or alternatively walk 20-30 min along Schwarza river (avoid the Main Street). Indoor pool. Good breakfast in impressive historic dining room. Lunch and dinner options. Friendly staff. Good price-quality relation. (The hotel, while very nicely renovated, is not necessarily luxury, at least the parts that I’ve seen.) Good hiking options in and around Reichenau.
