Very nice town with everything for a pleasant stay. The river, the old town, the hill with the vineyards, the boats through the Wahau valley. The bike routs. All these are worth trying. There are enough and different restaurants for every taste. We were there to try local food and wine and we were not disappointed. We cycled to Spitz with our 8 year old son, had lunch and took a boat back - really exciting for the boy.Guest review byboyanBulgaria - 10.0

Nice old city, lots of restaurants, bars and wine bars. Good location for shopping. Bakeries opened each day, no problem to find breakfast early in the morning. Small city, easy to go by foot everywhere. I reccomend boat trip Krems-Spitz-Krems, wonderful. Tasting wine in Spitz exceeded our expectations. Very nice green Donau´s nature, vineyards everywhere. Krems is a fantastic city.
Krems is a fantastic city. Lots of sights, leisure and entertainment options. There is a very high-quality bicycle path along the Danube, it is easy to get to the equally beautiful neighboring Dürnstein or the other towns by bicycle. The baroque atmosphere of Krems is very captivating. It is a perfect destination for a shorter or longer stay as well.Guest review byHelgaHungary - 10.0
Lovely old town with a great position on the Danube.
Lovely old town with a great position on the Danube. We spent 3 hours sitting on the comfortable chairs right on the river. Took our lunch there to eat on the river followed by a gelato. Great old traditional restaurant - Adlerbräu which has been in business since 1621. Terrific town square too. Kunsmeile is worth a visit.
Kunsmeile is worth a visit. Make sure that you have enough time for the four museums. The buildings are wonderful and exhibitions very good. The view from the rooftop terrace at Landesgalerie is breathtaking. I wish that I would have time for the Wachau Valley.Guest review bySabineDenmark

The location is perfect, in the middle of the vineyards and 10 min from the town center. The bedroom was huge and very comfy. Breakfast is complete, you can ask for eggs the way you like it and you have plenty of food to choose from the buffet. Every staff member was lovely with us and our dogs and there was no extra charge for them, which is rarer and rarer… What more can I say ? You have to go and try it on your own, you’ll feel at home immediately and will be very sad to leave ☺️Guest review byRomainFrance
