Lofer is a beautiful small town with a lot to offer...
Lofer is a beautiful small town with a lot to offer surrounded by big mountains. There is everything you need, great public transportation and kind people. We visited multiple glens and took a cable car for a trip above Lofer. Fully furnished ground floor apartment in a beautiful family house. Each room has its own bathroom and toilet. From the terrace in front of the apartment there is a view of the surrounding mountains. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The ski lift in Lofer is accessible on foot (about 800 m). There is also a Spar nearby. We had 1 day by the pool which is amazing, the restaurant is fantastic too with the normal amount of choices for this region. Everything we eat was very good but make sure you book as it is popular, there are not too many choices to eat at nearby. Picture below is from our balcony... Lofer is a magical place and the apartment windows open to scenic mountains. You can enjoy the calmness, greenery, a walk or picnic just next to apartment. Of cos there was so much to see between Salzberg and Zell Am See that I feel I didn't spend much time in the surrounding of the apartment.
