Mitterbach is easily accessible via public transport with the Mariazeller trainline which runs nearly every hour or so. It is a small town so beware of the opening and 'rest times' of local supermarkets and restaurants. The choice is limited. That said, there are a couple of cosy, family-run places and it's a gorgeous area with loads of scenic hiking routes in a truly stunning area. Well worth visiting!Guest review byClaudiaCanada
