Wonderful place in the Alps next to the Millstättersee with pass access to most of the lake facilities for free. Very child friendly place with a great garden/playground. Great ski area Goldeck.
Great ski area Goldeck. It is small comparing to well known ski regions in Austria. But it offers perfectly prepared slopes and amazing views. We were there on the beginning of March and there were almost no people. We enjoyed empty slopes with no queues anywhere. Also the price for family ski pass was very good. You should be aware you need a car to get to the hotel though. ( or taxi) I was wrongly directed by "maps" to go by foot and ended up on a hiking and mountain bike track to get there.
