    We liked everything there. The surroundings are beautiful, the landscape is superb. There is a lot of quiet and calmness for one's relaxation. We loved that. You can go on hikes, cliff climbing or mountain biking right there from the house. The appartment is clean, very spacious and equipped with everything you need. The hosts were very nice, friendly and helpful. The two nearby towns Steyr and Waidhofen an der Ybbs are charming and a "must see". We' ll visit Falkennest again in a few weeks.

    It is good for a night stop during the bike tour along the Ybbs. The hotel is located in the center of the city though there is not much to do in the town on a weekday evening. Room is a good size, bed is comfy. An electric kettle would be useful for those who drink tea and not coffee. There is a pretty good selection for breakfast of hams, salami, cheese, veggies, fried egg, etc.

    The views from our suite were amazing from every window, the room was spacious and very clean and comfortable, the staff and management were most attentive and courteous, helpful in every way, food was amazing, well stocked bar, this hotel is a real credit to the beautiful city of Waidhofen Ybbs, highly recommended!!!!!

    My daughter and I spent a day at the hotel. The advantage of the accommodation is that there is also an experience bath, which we really enjoyed. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was gorgeous.

    A lovely hotel with a good combination of character and modern. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. I also ate at the restaurant and the food was really very good and well priced.
