Loved location as very convenient to visiting beautiful Clare Valley . Spoilt for choice in regard to lovely winery restaurants and nearby cafes . Our visit was only overnight but have a longer trip booked for next year to ride the Riesling Trail from Clare to Auburn .

Auburn is a quiet village at the southern end of the Clare valley which makes it a great base for winery adventures and walking around - it is on the Riesling trail. There is a pub and a restaurant as well as a supermarket. The Rising Sun hotel does good dinners (just don’t expect your rare steak to come rare).

Auburn is known as the Gateway to the Clare Valley Wine Region. Very handy base to visit multiple wineries & small, historic hamlets in the Valley. The Terrior Auburn Restaurant is a must-try experience!

We had an overnight stay in Auburn for a quick business trip, so we weren't there to look around at all. However, it is obviously a beautiful area! We had dinner at Sevenhill Hotel - fantastic venue. Our accommodation at Lyreen's was excellent and we will be remembering this B&B for future visits.

A beautifully presented small cottage, perfect for a couple. Located in a quiet street with an easy walk to the main street shops and hotel. The breakfast items were wonderful and all the thoughtful little extras like a chocolate on the bed, bath salts, candles and washing powder for the laundry, made our stay even better.

Great location in heart of Auburn but not on the main road so it was very quiet. Off-street parking beside our room.
