Bicheno was a great base to explore the area. We were sad we did not see any penguins. We had take away fish and chips at Tasmanian Coastal Seafoods which was beautifully cooked and delicious! Stayed at Beachfront which was great value for money, central location, within walking distance to most attractions. We ate at Food & Brew for lunch & the iconic Lobster Shack for dinner, with some afternoon beers at the newly opened Bicheno Beer Co cellar door. The property was a small but adequate self contained unit on the owners property. It had its own access with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Whilst the only cooking facilities were toaster and microwave this was all you needed. The Bicheno blowhole was at the end of the street.
