Great location by the water. Good walks locally. Friendly community feel. Clean and presentable accomodation. Cozy bathroom and shower. We has a great time at night by the firepit and it was a quiet street. The main bed was very comfortable. If staying as a group, the fold out bed was comfortable enough to sleep on and theres extra blankets to thicken up the sleeping surface too.

The room was situated right beside the lake and the views were stunning. We liked how spacious the property was, and that it came furnished with all the essentials for a family's stay. The property also has a playground within the premises and in the day, there's a trampoline to entertain the kids. They were also happy to accommodate our early check-in so that was very nice!

Receptionist was welcoming. It was safe, our two bedroom cabin was very spacious and park was 2mins from the rockpool. So much for kids to do and I got a message everytime there was a movie on, pancake man and seafood truck were on site🥰

    The great outdoors are amazing in Budgewoi, particularly the beaches and there are many just a short drive away. We liked Lake Munmorah for kayaking and walking around the lakes edge. There are enough shops around to get groceries, drinks, etc. There are plenty of places to go walking, bush walking etc. Not far from Budgewoi we visited Norah Head lighthouse, it's a must, walked all the way down to the rocks. We had a great meal and music at The Beachcomber Hotel in Toukley, also nearby. Driving around is easy and plenty of places are pet-friendly.

    The position of the Motel is great, water views of the river...

    The position of the Motel is great, water views of the river, great walk along the edge of the river, shops, hotels and clubs not far and people are friendly and helpful for directions if you do happen to get lost. Would definitely be making this our stop in the future travels

    It's a beautiful park in a beautiful location.

    It's a beautiful park in a beautiful location. It's a shame I didn't get what I booked and payed for and the service is shocking. To walk to reception on arrival after driving 5 hrs ans askifor a bathroom, she said i had to wait till i get to our cabin.. to finalise check-in i needed Mobile reception so i had to walk out of their office as there's none in there.. she then started checking in the couple that were behind me and i had to stand there and wait 5 minutes busting for a pee while she shunted me... were then on day 3 needed fresh towels i walked to reception and asked and was sent back to our cabin to collect our used towels and told to take them back to reception to receive fresh ones. Get treated like a criminal for $260!! Terrible service.

    Budgewoi is one of those lucky places that is nestled...

    Budgewoi is one of those lucky places that is nestled between a lake and the ocean. It is a large town with all the shops you could want. Lots of restaurants and take away places. Busy town but laid back atmosphere.

    Room smelt badly of smoke and other. Too much furniture for size of room Dirty environment Flood debris at rear door - river high no information about that immediate environment Just poor quality environment all round.

    Peaceful, right on the water.

    Peaceful, right on the water. Once you've settled in you don't need to go far to get meals , drinks, shopping , fishing in lake or off the beach. Boat ramp available. It's all there for a family ,couples or singles to enjoy their holiday.
