We have driven through Coffs Harbour numerous times and have only stayed there once before this stay, which was in 1991 at Opal Cove when our children were young. Location was great for access to beach & town. Pools at the resort appear well maintained & spread across the resort. Ideal for golfers. Rooms very poor quality for the cost. Single beds not setup & using double bed linen. Kitchen has junk crockery & old applicances. Bathroom always very wet after showering. Lovely holiday.

Beautiful clean beaches with some whale watching options between June to Nov - family friendly and lovely warm weather We ate dinner at Stef &co and being vegetarians found some lovely options - the ravioli with lemon tang and saffron was a true find ! The weather was perfect for winter.
The weather was perfect for winter. My husband and I walked up Mutten bird hill and admired the lovely views, then walked around the foreshore and along the pier. It was all so pretty. We found some lovely cafes for breakfasts, and restaurants for dinner. We looked at the shopping malls as well. Everything is in close proximity. We have been to the lookout overlooking the town before, and thought it was awesome. We didn't have time to go there this time as we ran out of time.
