When we booked we explained that we have show dogs that do NOT sleep in the room but either sleep in the car or in a trailer.. i was told a "pet fee" would be charged but it then sudenly turned into $100 extra for my dogs.. ( which still slept in the car) I had to argue for a parking space as I was told to park in the street ( after already paying the extra for the dogs., although a van had been given 3 parking spots.
The lovely cleaner Jill was fantastic , she sorted out a parking spot and was extremely helpfull.
The family room was very small and cramped was sufficent for 3 people but wouldnt recommend for a family
The shower dripped for most of the night but it was hot so thankful for that

You can tell that this town take pride in the presentation of the streetscapes. The "bus shelters" in the main street were large, well covered from the heat/rain and planted with beautiful flowering grass trees. The town was beautiful and the locals friendly. What more could you want?

We ate at Bah Bah wine bar, Dusty Road Coffee Roasters and the Central Hotel. All good.
We played in a bridge congress at the Ex-Servicmans. Good.
We did not have time to see Don Bradman’s birthplace.
I enjoyed a weekend in Cootamundra and I hope to return.

The locals obviously have a lot of pride in this lovely town. The countryside is beautiful, and the town appears to be prospering. It feels safe and worth a visit, if only to experience what Australian country towns should be like.

Cootamundra was the cleanest NSW country town i have stayed in, and I have stayed in quite a lot.
The people of the town were extremely friendly. Every, museum, Historical society, church, pub, cafe, club we visited the people were so friendly. This made it a very warm feeling town.

We had a quick visit to Cootamundra as part of a larger road trip. The Cricket Captains walk in Jubilee park was interesting and we also enjoyed visting Bradman's birth place Museum. Well worth a visit.

The whole hotel was very clean and well maintained. With good security to upstairs facilities. I had booked a single room and was very pleasantly surprised at its size and the double bed. The mattress and bedding were extremely comfortable. The room was able to be warmed up very quickly with a fantastic quiet reverse cycle system. Shower was huge and great water pressure.
Meals were very tasty and reasonably priced.
We also had a function in one of the downstairs rooms which was well serviced by the kitchen.

The property is beautifully maintained, enjoys lovely views into the golf course and has a great position in a quiet part of town off the main roads and a short walk into the town centre. The room was large and super comfortable and clean and the bed was excellent. But it all starts with the warm and friendly welcome we received at reception. Coota Heritage M&A is a major asset to Cootamundra itself which is a lovely town and due to our stay we are keen to return. Highly recommended.
Great location , bed was comfortable , heating in the room was amazing cold Cootamundra night , needing extra milk wasn't a issue very helpful made the stay amazing .. court yard for smokers bonus I would stay again , friendly staff amazig management staff of motel - we would 💯 stay again 😊
