I have Visited Dubbo a few times . Great cafes ,good food , Zoo is well worth a visit . the old Goal worth a visit as well as Aviation museum at Narromine . I like to drive around the new areas & see how the city is growing . Aberdeen Motel near to amenities, pubs, restaurants, RSLs etc. We walked home and felt safe. We ate at the Milestone Hotel; food was very good with a wide selection of wine and beers. After driving Brisbane to Dubbo, tired and exhausted, the room at the Aberdeen was excellent, service and staff polite and excellent communication for our late arrival. Fresh bread on arrival. Everything for breakfast fruit, eggs, croissants etc. Kangaroos in the fields first thing in the morning are a treat. Sitting on the back porch in the evening with birds, ducks and geese aplenty near the pond - great way to end the day. Can't think of anything that has been missed in terms of facilities.
