Excellent service provided by Trudi, the receptionist. When I shared about how I was craving for pasta, she did not just provide recommendations, but also went ahead to secure a booking for us because it could get crowded. She made sure we had everything we needed and remembered our names when we passed by the reception. Thank you for making our stay so amazing! Also kudos to the housekeeping staff who smiled and greeted us. Thank you for making this stay so enjoyable.

Good stay, only needed a bed till 2am as I drove off to Perth. Bed was comfy , room was very clean, heater worked well, parked outside room for a Quick get away. This is now my stopover hotel for drives to Point Samson and return. Room Service sounded nice but didn’t get to try as I had left over Pizza from my departure. I’ll be back

It’s a really nice hostel. The Personal ist quiet nice and helpful all the time. The whole hostel is really clean and get cleaned every day. Even the kitchen ist really nice. Close to the kitchen is a small garden area. It’s cozy. Would come back at every time!!

    I was surprised how much I liked the Geraldton area.

    I was surprised how much I liked the Geraldton area. I would think three days is probably all you need to spend there. Unfortunately it is probably a little far from Perth. Glad we went especially as a launching place to see the Murchison gorge and Kilbarri which was beautiful. I think you really need to do a bit more research than I did to make the trip more fulfilling. Unfortunately in Western Australia there is a lot of driving to get to places. September and early October best time to visit as wildflower season. Would think too hot to do in peak of summer.

    Overall, a very enjoyable stay and found all staff, at both places and restaurants we visited to be very polite, similar to the tourist Information volunteers. Wonderful scenery and well worth the visit.

    Such a great city with the surrounding countryside a...

    Such a great city with the surrounding countryside a sightseer's delight. Highly recommend that travellers use the Indian Ocean Drive route and a visit to Northampton and the Chapman Valley. Also, Kalbarri is not too far away and the coastal route is also highly recommended.

    Lots of History in Geraldton from the beach to inland …. I suggest at least stay for a week in Gero to enjoy the whole experience. Beaches are absolutely great ... restaurants fantastic ... lots of places to do shopping. Just one great mini city ;)

    What a beautiful town!

    What a beautiful town! Picturesque with a very long ocean foreshore and great play parks and play facilities for kids. I was only there very briefly, I would like to go back to visit the art gallery and museum and other local attractions.

    We were just passing through, so not much time to sight see.

    We were just passing through, so not much time to sight see. Sunset beach caravan park was very nice, right on the beach with good access. We had really good Fish and Chips, just a short drive away, Sunset Fish and Chips. Good quality fish, cooked really well, thin crispy batter, not oily. Order ahead, they get really busy.

    The vicinity of the Park compared to the beach and the areas I needed to go in Geraldton was second to none. The service was great. I also liked that I was close to the city Centre. I could hear the ocean as a went to sleep which was very soothing.
