Great location right in the middle of Hahndorf, nice and clean rooms- some with excellent views! Very good parking out the back. But most importantly excellent staff! So helpful and accommodating, while being friendly and fun.

Beautiful location, very private, had everything we needed. Lovely the little outdoor area. The owner was very helpful. Lovely to have a bottle of red on arrival, as it was a celebration of a friend’s 60th birthday! Also breakfast included was fantastic! And the shower in the main bathroom was wonderful.

loved waking up next to the big windows - the surrounds were stunning and will only improve as the planted trees grow. Is very well equipped for it's size and is so well designed I must admit we found it hard to leave!

Beautiful rooms, loved the shared kitchen and was grateful it had breakfast provisions as we had our toddler with us. Having the Sunday mail delivered to the door was a great touch. staff were fantastic.

    Came for my daughters wedding so there was a lot of time...

    Came for my daughters wedding so there was a lot of time spent with arrangements but all the guests adored. Still managed to fit in gin tastings and wineries because everything is so close. So many options to dine and just wonder. Still close enough To Adelaide and all the wine regions to base yourself in Hahnsdorf.

    Hahndorf was just beautiful.

    Hahndorf was just beautiful. What a fantastic little village. Would have loved to stay another day to see outside of the town. Definitely need to spend at least a full day just meandering through this lovely town.

    So much to see and do.

    So much to see and do. Great places to eat, lovely atmosphere. Excellent shopping, caters for everyone from tourists to locals. Check out The Black Sheep gift shop and Otto's Bakery, just 2 of many favourites.

    Exquisite town of stone buildings and gorgeous architecture.

    Exquisite town of stone buildings and gorgeous architecture. Absolutely picturesque ❤️ We went to the German arms hotel which had a very detailed menu and the food and drinks were amazing! The Mill had great food and pool tables and big screen tv to watch sport. The leather shop has some great items. So many gorgeous antique shops. The Main Street you can walk all day and still not see everything.

    A lovely little village.

    A lovely little village. It's good to stay over to really enjoy the vibe - but beware - a lot of the shops don't open until 10:30 or 11am as they wait for the tour groups to arrive. DO visit the Cedars and take a tour of Hans Heysen's house - very interesting.

    As this trip was not a sight seeing trip I did not get to...

    As this trip was not a sight seeing trip I did not get to see the whole town, but what i did see was very charming and would be a great place to spend a relaxing week away, dining and wining the days away. With a walk or two through the town looking at all the quaint shops.

    We had an amazing stay at Discovery Parks – Hahndorf! The location is perfect—just a short stroll to the charming main street, yet the park itself feels peaceful and surrounded by nature. The cabins were spotless, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The park has fantastic facilities, and beautifully maintained gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed.

    The room was clean and tidy and the Motel was situated right in the middle of Hahndorf - so once parked up it was a great location for wandering around the town by foot. Hahndorf was also a good base to go for a drive to visit the Barossa valley as a day out.

    Great location in Hahndorf, easy walk into town, very quiet. Comfortable beds and couch, big good quality TV. It was nice to have a washing machine. Air conditioning works well and ceiling fans are a lovely addition in hot weather. Nice little back yard too!
