Although we initially thought the location might be a little too far out of Palmerston, we soon got used to the 15 min drive. We looked forward to getting home to the peace and quiet in the evening and sitting back and relaxing before falling into the comfortable bed. There's a great patio.

Our two-night stay was disrupted by a cancelled flight to Darwin so two of our party only got to stay for one night but it was great for brief visit.

We left very early in the morning so did not have the breakfast, however we had room service dinner the previous night and it was delicious. It was so wonderful to be able to stay at a hotel that actually still has room service 24hrs and a restaurant. I normally book accommodation in Darwin city but the places no longer have room service and many have closed their restaurants. I won't be staying in the city again!

The property is in a great quiet location and Jane was a wonderful host who gave us fantastic information on the area. The small town of Humpty Doo is close by and has everything needed. Look about Lodge is a great gateway to Litchfield and Kakadu rather than staying in Darwin.
