I was there for the lantern parade. Lismore turned it on. All shops including art gallery were open til late The street stalls provided feasts fir the eyes and tge stomach. Lismore is still recovering in oarts from dreadful floods of several years ago but the indomitable spirit of the community and the large country town feel of the "city" are probably symbolic of Australian medium size Regional centres. There are some fantastic cafes open for business.
There are some fantastic cafes open for business. The food at Dark Horse Espresso was fabulous. The locals are absolutely amazing and Lismore deserves a visit.
