First and foremost the host and staff was absolutely incredible. We had an issue with our car and I was feeling terrible (pregnancy) and we were able to stay a little longer before check out! They were so lovely and understanding and checked in on us, even offering a staff room to stay if we needed somewhere warm to wait for the car. Apart from that the room is super cozy, well furnished, big comfortable king bed and lots of complimentary things like tea, coffee and cookies. Great big hot shower, lots of towels. Mansfield is a super lovely town with lots of cafes and restaurants and perfect to stay if you wanna go to Mt. Buller (40min drive). It's also in a perfect spot 2 min walking distance from various pubs, ski rentals and cafes.

What a great place for family and friends to be together.This place has so much room for everyone without stepping on each other's toes. Spacious,clean,warm, and inviting. Everything is marked in the kitchen, so all easy to find what you need. Close to town and easy drive to Mt Buller. Hosts were amazing and kept us up to date with anything we needed.

The property was gorgeous - a beautiful setting surrounded by rolling hills and not another house in site (apart from the other rentals!). There were fields of horses all around which were lovely. A chicken coop which we could get eggs from. The house was perfect - so welcoming and homely!

Everything you could want was at this property. Very comfortable and relaxing. Very quick drive into Mansfield. Appreciated having access to the garage for our bikes and a car. Kitchen well stocked with amble crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils meaning we were able to stay in and self cater the whole weekend. Everyone kept saying, isn't this house cool

Staff were very helpful, friendly and professional in every interaction I had with them, I was treated as if I was their only guest. I had a lot of questions for the staff, they answered every question with a smile and great communication. This is the first time I have travelled on my own since my husband died 6 years ago.

We went to Lake Eildon which is magnificant.

We went to Lake Eildon which is magnificant. The scenery is spectacular. Going for walks around Mansfield was really good and the shops were close where we stayed. We ate at the Mansfield Hotel and the food was very good. Also the bakery was a hub of activity and the food was really good.

Mansfield was very busy but we had no trouble getting meals at the hotels or restaurants. Friendly town with nice drives to nearby Lake Eildon, Jamieson & Mt Buller. Would definitely visit again!

A pleasant country town and a gateway to the Victorian High...

A pleasant country town and a gateway to the Victorian High Country. Two great pubs opposite each other on the main roundabout. A big shout-out to the Chinese Noodle House on High Street - great value. For history buffs check out the memorial in the centre of town to the police officers killed at Stringybark Creek by the Kelly Gang in 1878. They are buried in the Mansfield Cemetery at the southern most end of the town.

The main street was full of pubs, cafes, shops that catered for every need. Beautiful countryside that should be explored. We had drinks at several of the hotels and they were all great. We purchased food from the IGA and ate in both nights. Our accommodation at About Time Retreats - Studio Seven supplied ample provisions for breakfast so I would highly recommend staying there. We shopped at Outdoor Pleasure which had a great variety of everything to do with the outdoors. We went to Delatite Winery for lunch and a tasting one day and the food and wine was wonderful. Mansfield was easy to get around and plenty of parking in the main street. We will return as plenty more to see and do.

Hotel and room facilities were excellent, room was clean, spacious and quiet, staff maintained room well, service and communications were excellent and pool and the grounds were well maintained and in great condition. Everything you need was on offer and plenty of brochures on what to do were available. Highly recommended place to stay and I will stay here again

Monnie was lovely and very welcoming. The room was spacious and had all we needed for a short stay. It was so close to the main street, we could walk everywhere in town. Appreciated the reserved carpark too. We'll definitely stay again if we go back to Mansfield
