The room was clean & tidy. I received excellent customer service from a polite & professional team member upon check-in. I had requested an early check-in so that we could go & spend time with family for Xmas Eve & they were very accommodating & allowed it. This made our visit extra nice as we didn't have to wait around for long. The room was great value for money. We plan to go back there in the future.

We loved staying here. Immaculately clean. So much to do. You could walk the entire lake and head to the beach. They had kayaks and a pool table. Loved the alfresco dining area. All of the staff were friendly. Would definitely return. One of the best resorts I’ve stayed at.

A small quiet community beach area with cafes and...

A small quiet community beach area with cafes and restaurants aplenty. There are patrolled beaches that offer lovely areas for all ages. There are many levels of accommodation and even in not so good beach weather it isn't too far to travel to do sightseeing. The area is very close to Maroochy airport as well as local bus stops. There are major grocery shops as well as independent grocers as well.

Everything was great , location, apartment, Surf Air...

Everything was great , location, apartment, Surf Air Restaurant, facilities and staff. Unfortunately there was a lot of traffic noise from the David Lowe Highway late into it he night. The local cafes are good for breakfast and we had dinner in the hotel most evenings. Visited the Surf Life Club for dinner one night and it was good too. The staff at Ramada are very helpful and efficient.

If you have a dog, the best beach is Mudjimba a bit further...

If you have a dog, the best beach is Mudjimba a bit further down to the south as it has a huge expanse of off leash beach bordering the Maroochy River mouth where my dog had a lovely still water swim. Marcoola has a great authentic Italian restaurant.

We stayed at Ramanda Wyndham because it was in close...

We stayed at Ramanda Wyndham because it was in close proximity to airport. We met with family for dinner next door the night we stayed. The gardens will be thriving due to the massive rainfall we had.

Marcoola beach was excellent if you like being away from the...

Marcoola beach was excellent if you like being away from the crowds. Close to the airport, Collum beach and Mt Collum we loved our stay and are keen to return. Bonus was the SLSC in walking distance, the Friday night market with food trucks and the gorgeous beach.

The size of the room was huge and spacious, nice sized En-Suite and a nice spacious balcony with cosy table and chairs. Air-conditioning was lovely and had no faults. Great location with a beautiful sandy beach couple min walk from back of hotel. Nice children's and deeper pool with great facilities to suit all. Great location to hop on bus to Australia Zoo.

This room is a credit to its owner, superb .We stay in hotels / motels all the time as we are retired , and have seen hundreds of rooms.Clean spacious and all the little touches that make a stay special . What a gem of a find for us , we last stayed here 35 years ago ! It still looks fantastic.Next time we will stay for a lot longer.******

Marcoola is a sleepy little area. The property is well located, clean, plenty of space, large rooms, and great facilities. This was our 3rd stay, and it never disappoints. Will definitely stay again and would recommend it to others. Great for couples and families. Quiet area and very relaxing.

The location was excellent. A short walk to the beach and Marcoola surf club. The owners were lovely with excellent communication. The layout of the unit was great, and it was beautifully styled. It gave us a warm coastal feeling, and it really set the tone for a relaxing beach holiday.
