    I come up for the Echuca blues Festival but prefer to stay...

    I come up for the Echuca blues Festival but prefer to stay in Moama its a nice quiet Town and only a few Klm to Echuca, has changed a lot since the 70s. About $20.00 for a cab into Echuca. Should have a bus running constant for the Blues fes as parking can be a nightmare. The Blues bus runs on the Saturday only which I think is free. Moama RSL does great food.

    Wide variety of restaurants cafes, motels and bakeries in Echuca and Moama make for a very pleasant stay. The historic Port of Echuca with access to the paddle steamer river boats is a great attraction. The monthly Sunday market in Moama and the regular races at the Echuca Race track offer enjoyable experiences even during the winter months.

    Plenty of activity’s for all ages or just beautiful to find a tree and sit under and watch river flowing by or read a book . Bird life amazing. Rsl , bowling club, and rich river were great for night life plenty of things happening , good food . Or plenty of restaurants great little town for shopping gift shops, lollie shop

    Peaceful area. Friendly people. Don't miss lunch/dinner at the RSL ... good value for money, excellent selection. Moama bakery, just across the road from the hotel, has some excellent pies - they won awards for them! Also scrumptious cakes. Not too expensive either. Small shopping centre nearby has an excellent Woolworths.

    The staff at the clubs are always great and helpful.

    The staff at the clubs are always great and helpful. The down side for our stay this time was getting a meal at the local Chinese restraunt on Meninya Street. I asked twice if the seasame prawn toast was made on site because it was so expensive. It was the same generic seasame prawn toast as every Chinese restraunt in Australia.

    Weather was great. Area is very scenic. Along the river is very shady and pleasant for reading/fishing/picnicking. Clubs are handy and restaurants are great. Wildlife and birds are spectacular.

    Everything about Moama Waters is well thought out. The roads are wide, the cabins and campsites spacious and well placed around the property. The pools were fantastic (a bit chilly still!) and the kids loved the jumping pillows, flying fox and other open spaces. There’s loads to do and next time we’ll definitely try the beautiful restaurant as well.

    River Country Inn far exceeded our expectations as a Pet Friendly hotel. The moment we walked in the room we knew how clean it was by the steamed cleaned carpets, fresh (very fresh) linen with not a bit of dust. This was our first experience travelling with the dogs who were very welcomed. An absolute delight and stress free break - thank you

    I liked that it was very close to the Murray River so we easily crossed between Echuca and Moama. Also, the beds were comfortable and we slept well. The coffee, tea packets, milk capsules and bathroom products provided were also good. There was also a little back area outside which was nice to see the trees and birds.

    Property was in close proximity to Moama bowls club and the Port of Echuca. Our cabin was overlooking Horseshoe lagoon and was well equipped for our short stay. The park was well maintained and staff were extremely pleasant.
