We had a couple of great meals at Boogie Woogie Beach House...
We had a couple of great meals at Boogie Woogie Beach House - which used to be called the Flow Bar. The pizzas were surprisingly good and our large table of 12 people were all in agreement on this. The salads were excellent as well. Everything was fresh, made on the premises, etc. The whole place has a nice relaxed and welcoming vibe. Staff very local and relaxed. We went for the Old Bar Beach Festival during the October...
We went for the Old Bar Beach Festival during the October long weekend. Very well run with lots to do/see for everyone: Kombis(!), markets, live music, food vans, kids' entertainment and rides area. The beaches are great and we particularly enjoyed Saltwater National Park just a few kilometres to the south. Old Bar would be great to visit at other times as well. Beautiful town Friendly people Lovely shops Had a glorious time Close bottle shop with friendly service. Great cafes everywhere and some unique shops for gift buying. Great town centre a short drive away and the beaches were beautiful. Very clean and tidy town The club next door is very busy and service is good. Property was very well maintained. Onsite recreation room, pool and communal barbecue/eating area all lovely. Quiet, leafy setting but only 5 minutes drive from Old Bar shopping area and beach. Beds very comfy. Shower unit in our cabin was small but incorporated a small bath at base for a child. Our other cabin provided access for disabled and had a larger walk-in shower.
