Don't let the small hamlet atmosphere fool you - there's a lot to do and see in Peterborough. I mean, what a location! Wild beaches and protected bays, at the mouth of the Curdies River and a freshwater lake. There's lots of wonderful places to stay - we stayed at the Seahorse Villas and it was perfect - location, facilities, booking etc. The locals are so nice and the food is delicious, But the location - the golf course is spectacular, the coastline is spectacular. Close to Great Ocean Road attractions, but Peterborough has little in the way of food and dining options. We had to drive 15mins back to Port Campbell to have dinner and breakfast. Peterborough is a lovely smaller town which takes you away from the hussell and bussell of busy Port Campbell, but still being within 12 kilometres for easy visiting. Peterborough was good for a central location for visiting other places within 90 minutes. It was a nice quiet place. We enjoyed our hotel / inn meal on the day we arrived. It would have been good to have a few other eating options but Port Campbell was not too far away. Nice quiet place to visit and get away from the crowds.Guest review byJulie - 10.0
The place was beautiful.
The place was beautiful. Unfortunately we had to come home due to the Government locking us down it was very disappointing as I didn't want to leave. Even worse we didn't get our money back for the night we were not there for. My partner has had no work due to COVID and it was his birthday weekend to not receive my money back I cried all the way home. It was not my fault.Guest review byPetaAustralia
