Everything about St Helens was beautiful. We really wish we could have stayed alot longer. We had breakfast at the The Lifebuoy Cafe which was awesome!!! Everyone absolutely loved the breakfast (5 stars) and excellent coffee. We also loved visiting the Bay of Fires and found this lovely beach "Squeaky Beach". The decor is a lovely, peaceful white and blue with plenty of comfortable leather sofas and chairs in the foyer and other areas. We didn't go outside, but there is a lovely large deck area to enjoy the fantastic water views in warmer weather. It was such a peaceful place to stay in . I thought the scenery was going to be quite rugged being in a bird sanctuary but we were really surprised by how nice it is .
